Professor of the Beijing Institute of Genomics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, graduated from the Department of Biology, Beijing Normal University, Ph.D., University of Alabama. Since 2014, he has been the director and researcher of the Key Laboratory of Precision Genomics Medicine of the Beijing Institute of Genomics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. At present, the main focus is to use high-throughput genomics and epigenome analysis and bioinformatics to answer biological questions, focusing on the location of disease-related genes such as tumors, analysis of molecular pathways and regulatory mechanisms, and hypoxia adaptation. And gene population genetic research and genomic function annotation, natural occurrence and disease-related somatic mutation research, and research on precision medicine such as population cohort analysis and early tumor diagnosis.
