Research areas: combined with patch clamp electrophysiology, in vivo multi-channel live animal recording techniques, animal genetic manipulation and optogenetics and imaging techniques, for emotional memory and related diseases such as depression, anxiety and impulsive control disorders, etc, a multidisciplinary study of cell levels and neural circuit levels to elucidate the neural circuit mechanisms of emotional memory formation under normal physiological conditions and its role in the formation of related diseases. He has published dozens of papers and won the first prize of the 2009 Shanghai Natural Science Awards 2009 (third finisher)
