The Biotechnology and Biomedical Drug Research and Development Center of the Institute of Translational Medicine of Nanchang University has a research base of 2,000 square meters, including 500 square meters of molecular biology, cell biology, pharmacology research laboratories and 1,000 square meters of clean areas with GMP standards. Good working conditions from molecular biology, protein chemistry, cell biology, tumor biology, neurobiology, pharmacology, and disease animal models. Through the joint efforts of researchers, we have established a number of technology platforms, including molecular cloning platforms, protein purification platforms, macrophage research platforms, T cell research platforms, flow cytometry platforms, etc., to provide a guarantee for the smooth implementation of scientific research projects. At present, the center has one special professor of "Leading Leads in Discipline", three assistant researchers in the "985 Project" college, 10 engineers and technicians, and more than 10 doctoral and postgraduate students. We focus on the relationship between immune disorders and diseases, and are committed to neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, etc.), malignant tumors (pancreatic cancer, small cell lung cancer, Research and development of new diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for difficult diseases such as colon cancer, breast cancer, etc., autoimmune diseases (systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis, etc.), strive to be within 3-5 years Bringing 1-2 new treatment technologies or products to the clinic for the benefit of the majority of patients. The main research and development projects are: 1) the development of new anti-tumor drugs for macrophage migration inhibitors; 2) the development of anti-tumor novel chimeric antigen receptor T cells; 3) M2 macrophages and regulatory T lymphocytes Application in autoimmune diseases; 4) Development of monoclonal antibodies to hand, foot and mouth disease. So far, we have attracted various types of funds of 26 million yuan, which has effectively promoted the progress of the project.
