Current main research directions:
He focuses on tumors and cardiovascular diseases; using high-throughput omics techniques to systematically discover and interpret the molecular mechanisms involved in disease development. It is mainly aimed at the discovery of rare transcripts, the determination of alternative splicing patterns, and the construction of transcriptional regulatory networks; and the use of nucleic acid markers to develop kits for early diagnosis of diseases.
